Quite by coincidence, my Nan’s cousin Helen Phyllis Birch nee Dawson was living at Elm Bank in 1911. Her son Cecil John Birch also died in WW1 in August 1916, and is commemorated at Levington. He signed up in Melbourne, Australia and gives his trade as “Sailor”, but gives his mother’s address as Elm Bank, Levington, near Ipswich.
Helen’s Father and grandfather had Elm Bank in the past, when it was called Watkins Farm.
