Employed: in the Civil Engineering Department with Great Eastern Railway, Ipswich. Harry had joined the company at Ipswich, 7th March 1910; first as a General Labourer, before being transferred to Signal Fitter’s Labourer in February 1915.

Enlistment Date: 24th April 1917.

Rank: Able Seaman; Service Number: R.1241

Regiment: Royal Naval Volunteer Reserves, Royal Navy Division, ‘Drake’ Battalion.
