Mother: Eva Clapham (nee Brownfoot), born February 1891, Leeds, Yorkshire – died March 1920, at 2, New Road, Rochester, Kent.

In 1922, Richard married Elsie Tempest, born February 1890, Hunslet, Leeds, Yorkshire.

In 1943, at St. Matthew’s Church, Ipswich, Philip married Audrey Eleanor Towns, born January 1921, Ipswich, of 74, Valley Road, Ipswich.
