Born: 6th August 1906, Ipswich.
Died: 17th May 1944; age: 37; died at Five Oaks Road, Billingshurst, West Sussex from Aspleyxia due to heavy pressure across the front of the chest and base of the neck caused by being pinned underneath a R.A.F. van in which he had been travelling and which capsized owing to a skid.
Inquest held 20th May 1944.

At the start of the Second World War, Percy was an A.R.P. Warden – part-time – County Borough of Ipswich.
