Olaf was 11 years & 6 months old. He attended School and lived with his parents and sister.

Doreen Olive Moss, 6 years & 7 months old, at School, born Bramford.

In 1931, Playford, Suffolk, Olaf married Doris Winifred Sadd, born October 1913, Playford – daughter of Arthur Sadd, a bricklayer, and Bertha Monica Sadd (nee Girling), of Brook Cottage, Playford.

Doris and Olaf had one daughter:

Audrey Joyce Mary Moss, born June 1931, Ipswich.

Probate to Doris Winfred Moss – widow.

Olaf is also remembered on the war memorial at St Mary the Virgin Church, Bramford, Suffolk.

4th Battalion
The Battalions were attached to the 18th East Anglian Division.
15 February 1942: After the fall of Singapore, approximately 620 of the Battalions were taken POW and later mostly died on the Burma-Thailand Railway.
