Olaf was a year old and living with his parents.

Frederick Charles D. Moss, 27, a Chemical Labourer – Chemical Works, Bramford.

Gertrude Keziah Moss (nee Lay), 26, born Whitton, Suffolk.

 

In 1931, Woodbridge, Suffolk, Olaf married Doris Winifred Sadd, born 1913, Woodbridge, Suffolk. They had 1 daughter.

Olaf is Also commemorated on the Bramford WW2 memorial in St Mary’s Church.

4th  Battalion
The Battalions were attached to the 18th East Anglian Division.
15 February 1942: After the fall of Singapore, approximately 620 of the Battalions were taken POW and later mostly died on the Burma-Thailand Railway.
