Died: 14th February 1942; age: 21; KiA at Adam Road during the fighting for Singapore.

Regiment: Suffolk Regiment, 4th Battalion – Infantry.
The body was buried on the 14th April 1942, at Adam Road, grave no. 2, by Padre George John Polain, of the Australian Infantry Force. On the 28th June 1946, the body was exhumed, identified and re-buried at Kranji War Cemetery.

4th Battalion
The Battalions were attached to the 18th East Anglian Division.
15th February 1942: After the fall of Singapore, approximately 620 of the battalion were taken POW and later mostly died on the Burma-Thailand Railway.
