The body was originally buried at Benghazi Civil Cemetery. On the 17th August 1944, the body was exhumed, identified and reburied at Benghazi War Cemetery.

In 1939, Ipswich, Henry married Doreen Mary Rose, a shorthand typist, born September 1916, Ipswich – daughter of William Edward Rose, an agricultural engineer’s fitter, and Maude Marion Rose (nee Last), of 67, King Edward Road, Ipswich.

Probate to Doreen Mary Freeman – widow.

Henry is also remembered on the war memorial at Holy Trinity Church, Ipswich.
