Died: 17th April 1918; age: 23; died of Phthisis and Exhustion, at 27, Wellington Street, Ipswich.

Enlistment Details: Location: Ipswich; Date: 5th November 1914; Age: 19 years & 11 months; Occupation: Farm Hand; Religion: CofE. Height: 5ft 6ins, fair complexion, hazel eyes, brown hair.

Discharged – 2nd January 1915 –  medically unfit for service – flat fit – served 59 days.

Discharged: Date: 1st May 1917; age: 22; No longer fit for war service – Tubercle of the Lungs 100% disablement. Medical Board Report: 10th April 1917 – 3 years ago. Not the result of but aggravated by ordinary military service. Character: Very Good.
