Alfred was 17 years old a Merchant’s Clerk at a clothing store. He was living with his mother, maternal grandmother & niece.

Alfred’s father, Alfred Ramsey died in May 1909, at his residence 9, Great Colman Street, Ipswich.

 

On the 20th January 1905, Alfred’s sister, Nellie Elizabeth Ramsey died at 9, Great Colman Street, Ipswich.

Alfred is also remembered on the war memorial at St. Margaret’s Church, Ipswich and at Northgate High School. Formerly Ipswich Grammar School for Boys.
