Walter’s Regiment landed in France 5th October 1914 seeing action in France and Belgium. 28th October 1916 the Regiment embarked from Marseilles, France for Salonika seeing action at the Battle of Horseshoe Hill, The Battle of Machukovo and in 1917 the Battle of Doiran.
