Died: 17th August 1945, age: 26; died of Malaria as a Japanese PoW at Tagri on the Thailand/Burma Railway.

Captured: 15th February 1942 – Fall of Singapore.

Residence: 4, St. Matthew’s Church Lane, Ipswich.

Occupation: a Motor Machanic.

 

Rank: Bombardier; Service Number: 5828175.

Regiment: Royal Artillery, 135 (The Hertfordshire Yeomanry) Field Regiment.

 

Originally buried at Tagri Cemetery. Body exhumed, identified by records and re-buried at Kanchanaburi War Cemetery on the 5th April 1946.
