Rudolph’s father, Alfred West, died in 1923, Ipswich. His mother, Elizabeth Eliza West, died in 1938, in Ipswich.
In 1920, Ipswich, Rudolph married Dorothy Chandler, born 1894, Ipswich – daughter of Geoffrey Frederick Chandler, a bricklayer, and Emily Chandler (nee Davey), of 64, Elliott Street, Ipswich.
In 1921, Dorothy West was 26 years & 6 months old (a barmaid at the Union Hotel, Tackett Street, Ipswich), was a patient at the Borough Infectious and Fever Hospital, Foxhall Road, Ipswich.
Dorothy West died in March 1926, in Ipswich, and was buried at Ipswich Old Cemetery
In 1926, in Ramsgate, Kent, Rudolph married Alice Norah Maria Booth, born February 1904, Ramsgate, Kent. Baptised: 26th October 1906, St. Luke’s Church, Ramsgate, Kent – daughter of William Henry Booth, a timber labourer, and Ann Maria Booth (nee Philpott) (died 1904, Ramsgate), of 50, Denmark Road, Ramsgate, Kent.

Just exploring our family tree as my mother, one of his daughters, is aged 92. Missing from the children of his marriage to Alice Booth appears to be my uncle, born in the 1930s
