IPSWICH GUNNER KILLED.

FATALLY INJURED IN ROAD ACCIDENT.

Two Ipswich soldiers were victims in a road tragedy in which a motor car was involved at Haselbury, Plucknett, near Crewkerne, West Somerset. The men Gunner Rowland James Welham, age 21, of 51, Sidegate Lane, Ipswich, and Gunner William Parkes, age 31, also of Ipswich were admitted to Crewkerne Hospital, where the former died on Tuesday from a fracture of the base of the skull. Gunner Parkes condition is also serious.
