Robert was 37, a Motor Engineer. He was a Boarder at the home of 57 year old, widow, Matilda Vesey and her 19 year old son, Walter Frank Vesey,(KIA) a School Teacher – Council School.

Robert’s mother, Catherine Elizabeth Grant died 1895, Halifax, Yorkshire.

 

Robert’s father, Reverend Alexander Grant, of The Red House, Wemyss Castle, Fife,  applied for his late son’s 1915 Star on the 3rd January 1919.
