Died: 12th June 1943; age: 19; at Greenwich Royal Infirmary – Fractured Skull – accidental fall from roof-light at night.

Residence: ‘The Gables’, Westerfield, Suffolk.

 

Rank: Midshipman.

Regiment: Royal Naval Reserve, H.M.s. ‘Ramillies’

Mother: Florence Gertrude Bowman (nee Britton), born January 1895, Dartford, Kent. A Pastry Cook.

 

Raymond attended Ipswich School – left the school January 1943.

 

Probate to Florence Gertrude Bowman – mother.

 

Raymond is also remembered on the Ipswich School Chapel war memorial, and at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Westerfield, Suffolk.
