Died: 12:15, 26th August 1942; age: 41; died from bomb explosion injuries at East Suffolk & Ipswich Hospital, Suffolk. Injuries received on the 25th August 1942, whilst on duty outside 65, King Edward Road, Ipswich.

Bomb exploded on Murray Road, at 11:30 p.m.

Residence: 65, King Edward Road, Ipswich.

Occupation: Test Engineer – Pneumatic Engineers – Reavell’s, Ipswich.

 

Civilian: A Firefighter, for the Civil Defence Service.
