Kenneth’s brother, Edwin Gray Tarrant lost his life in the First World War, when he was KiA on the 8th August 1918. Edwin was ranked a Private, service number 78209, for the Royal Fusiliers, London Regiment, 9th Battalion. 18 year old, Edwin is commemorated on the Vis-en-Artois Memorial, Pas de Calais, France.
