Died: 14th December 1943: age: 41; Died of High Blood Pressure (Idiopathic) & Congestive Heart Failure, at Royal Naval Sick Quarters, North Ness, Orkney.

Regiment: Royal Naval Patrol Service, H.M.S. ‘Dunluce Castle.’

In 1942, Ipswich, John married the Landlady of  The Gardener’s Arms, Ipswich, Alice Lucy Pennell (nee Vincent), born 1888, St. John Street, Ipswich – died October 1946, at The Gardener’s Arms, Fore Hamlet, Ipswich.
