Born: 9th December 1922, Preston, Lancashire.

Died: 3rd July 1944; age 21; of Tuberculous Meningitis and Hypostatic Pneumonia at Ipswich Borough General Hospital. His father, William was at his bedside.

Residence: West View, Moss Lane, New Longton, Lancashire.

Occupation: Laboratory Assistant.

 

Served with the R.A.F. from 1942.

 

Rank: Leading Aircraftman; Service Number: 1674843.

Regiment: Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.
