Ipswich Cornexchange WW1 Exhibition 2015

24th -26th April 2015 WW1 Exhibition

The exhibition was held in the Ipswich Cornexchange Grand Hall over a weekend, Co ordinated and supported by Ipswich War Memorial Project, Ipswich Borough Council, The Western Front Association, The Suffolk Records Office. As well as many local history groups from across the County.

Hundreds flocked to this free event, seeing families finding out more about their ancestors, as well as families being reunited with photos and written accounts of the soldiers lives. The IWMP gathered and gave countless documents at this event. Many families are proud of the service given to the country and wish to record and preserve these important details of their lives.
