Aircraft: Spitfire VB; serial number: W3137. Henry and 2 other 92 Squadron pilots were lost in the sweep over France.
W3459 – John Wilfred Lund; Flight Lieutenant; age 22; R.A.F.V.R.
W3762 – Kenneth George Port; Sergeant; age 21; R.A.F.V.R.
A fourth pilot made it back to England, crash-landed near Ashford, survived and was hospitalised.
W3657 – David Alistair Bruce; Pilot Officer; R.A.F.V.R. David died in Egypt, 10th March 1943; age 29; with 112 Squadron.
