Died: 5th November 1941; age: 27; died from injuries received when the Army vehicle in which he was riding on duty accidentally overturned there on that day at Duke’s Ride, Elveden, West Suffolk.

Inquest held on the 7th November 1941.

On the 13th August 1939, Ipswich, George married Irene May Hiskey, born October 1920, Ipswich – daughter of Patrick John Hiskey, a fireman – refuse destruction, and Lily Beatrice Hiskey (nee Burch), of 19, Kelly Road, Ipswich.

They had 1 son:

Michael George Warren, born 21st September 1941, Ipswich.


Patrick John Hiskey’s older brother ERNEST HISKEY  was killed in action in March 1918, France.
