Frederick is not remembered on the war memorial at Christchurch Park.

Died: 22nd October 1916; age 37; KiA.

Residence: 235, Nacton Road, Ipswich.

Employed: at Messrs. Freeman, Hardy & Willis’s – where his father was for many years manager.

Enlistment Location: London.

Date of Entry Therein: 5th November 1914.

 

Rank: Lance Corporal; Service Number: 1013.

Regiment: Cameronian, Scottish Rifles, 9th Battalion.

 

Medals Awarded: Victory, British War & 1914 Star.
