In 1913, at Ipswich, Frederick married Florence Gertrude Gower, born January 1888, Ipswich – daughter of the late Thomas Charles Gower, a malster and Belinda Holden (nee Allanton (1st marriage Gower)), wife of William John Holden, of 4, Junction Cottages, Wherstead Road, Ipswich.

Florence and Frederick had two sons:

Donald Frederick Moore, born June 1915, Ipswich.

Wilfred Stanley Moore, born November 1918, Ipswich – died 1918, Ipswich.

Frederick is also remembered on the war memorial at St. Peter’s Church, Ipswich.
