Father: Samuel Garrod, born 1882, Bawsdey, Suffolk – was KiA in the First World War, on the 4th August 1917, a Private, Service Number 40667, 7th Battalion of the Norfolk Regiment. Laid to rest at Monchy British Cemetery, Monchy-Le-Preux, France.

Mother: Alice Kate Garrod (nee Gibson), 1885, Alderton, Suffolk – died 1922, Alderton, Suffolk.
