Edwin’s youngest sister, Adelaide May Roper died on the 26th September 1916, of 2, Durham Villas, Felixstowe Road, Ipswich aged 20. She was laid to rest on the 29th September at Ipswich Old Cemetery.
In 1915, Ipswich, Edwin married Louisa Maud Pittock, born January 1894, Ipswich – daughter of John Philip Pittock, a market gardener – own account, and Eliza Pittock (nee Race), of 1, Bedford Villas, Felixstowe Road, Ipswich.
Louisa and Edwin had one daughter:
