Died: December 1922; age 30; died of Tuberculosis of the Lungs, at Ipswich. Served 12 years.

On the 8th April 1917, at Ipswich Register Office, 25 year old, Edward, a Rope Splicer, of 5, Freehold Road, Ipswich, married 33 year old, Bertha Lily Martin (nee Warren), a Tent Roper, of 5, Argyle Street, Ipswich, born November 1884, Ipswich, daughter of Thomas Warren, a Machine Belt Maker.

This was my Grandma’s husband and was her second. she married a third time when Edward died, she was then married to my Grandad that i knew Claude Thomas Noble age 35, and she was now 44, on 6.1.29. This filled a gap in our family history because Frederick cause of death and service record was unknown to us until now. Thank You Andrew.
