Edmund is remembered on the war memorial at Northgate High School. Formerly Ipswich Grammar School for Boys.

Died: 16th March 1915; age: 21; Died of Wounds received during the bombardment of Ypres.

Occupation: a Professional Associate of the Surveyors Institute and a Probationer of the Royal Institute of British Architects.

Enlistment Location: Chelsea, S.W.

Date of Entry Therein: 19th January 1915 – France.

 

Rank: Private; Service Number: 246.

Regiment: Royal Army Medical Corps, 15th Sanitary Section.
