Died: 7th October 1941; age: 28; Killed in a flying accident at R.A.F. Station Lyneham, Chippenham, Wiltshire.

Donald was an Assistant Teacher – P.E. School. He was living with his parents & sister at their family home – 105, Leopold Road, Ipswich.

In 1940, Ipswich, Donald married, Constance Ada Clarke, born June 1915, Ipswich.

 

Probate to Charles Blundell Goymer – father, a Locomotive Foreman & Constance Ada Goymer – widow.

 

Donald is also remembered on the war memorial at the Town Hall, Ipswich. St Mary at Stoke Church memorial, Ipswich.

 

7th October 1941

 

Donald was killed on board No. 14 FTS Oxford I V3947, in a mid air collision with Oxford V 3947 – Pilot Officer Terence Ellis Wade, of the R.A.A.F.
