On the 29th April 1909, Emma Lloyd, of Woodbridge Road, applied to the Ipswich court for a separation order from her husband, David Lloyd, for persistent cruelty. After hearing all the evidence it was shown that a good deal of unhappiness exsisted in the home, but no cruelty to justify the Bench in making the separation order asked for.
