Arthur was an Inspector at an Iron Factory. He and Edna were living at their family home with two children – 89, Schreiber Road, Ipswich.


13th September 1944

Arthur was returning to duty after visiting his wife and family in Ipswich. At 16:03 a shell landed on Dover Priory Railway Station, Kent killing Arthur.
