Died: 14th October 1916; age 24; died in a Military Hospital, in Salonika.

Alfred’s father was Robert James Murrell, born 1869, Bramford, Suffolk – died 1899, Shotley, Suffolk – buried September 1899, Bramford.

Alfred is also remembered on the war memorial at St. Mary the Virgin Church, Bramford, Suffolk.
