Died: 18th March 1900; age: 21; Died of Dysentery at Ladysmith, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa.

Previously reported slightly wounded at Ladysmith on the 28th November 1899.

Rank: Private; Service Number: 4972.

Regiment: The Rifle Brigade (Prince Consort’s Own), 2nd Battalion.

 

Clasps Awarded: Defence of Ladysmith.
