William’s father, William Diaper died April 1914, at Addenbrooks Hospital, Cambridge.

His mother, Sarah Julia Diaper remained in Ipswich. On the 1911 census she was at living at 9, Albion Place, Ipswich. She died 1915, Ipswich.
