Aircraft: Lockheed Hudson MK1; Serial Number: N7214. The aircraft dived and crashed into the ground, near R.A.F. Leuchars, Fife, while on a transit flight to R.A.F. Thornaby, at Teesside, North Yorkshire. Believed to be due to the loss of the controls.
