John’s father was John Joseph Dean, a Lighterman.

 

On  the 22nd December 1908, at the Register Office, Ipswich, 34 year old, John, a Lance Sergeant for the Queen’s Regiment, of the Meeanee Barracks, Colchester, Essex married 26 year old, Mary Annie P. Hockley, of 25, Roseberry Road, Ipswich, born 1882, Ipswich.
