Walter was ranked 2nd Lieutenant; Service Number: 33565; Regiment: Royal Horse Artillery, ‘Y’ Battery. He was laid to rest – Mailly Wood Cemetery, Somme, France.

Mother: Sophia Kate Drake (nee Aldous), born 1885, Ipswich.
