Medals Awarded: Africa General Service Medal (Somaliland Clasp), as an Able
Seaman, on board H.M.S. Merlin.&  Edward received the awarded on H.M.S. Wildfire.
Shore establishment on the 1st April 1905.
Died: 14th March 1918; age: 41; Died of Hernia of Bladder – at R.M. Infirmary, Deal,
Kent.
Rank: Leading Seaman; Service Number: 177356
